Backup job type: MS SQL
Error: Offline for database XX failed. BACKUP LOG is terminating abnormally. The statement BACKUP LOG is not allowed while the recovery model is SIMPLE. Use BACKUP DATABASE or change the recovery model using ALTER DATABASE.

Reason: Transaction log backups can not be executed on database with SIMPLE recovery model.
Solution: Change the recovery model of database XX to FULL. Open Management Studio, connect to SQL server and execute the query: alter database XX set recovery full
